History of Karate

Martial arts is already dikenak since humans existed, it can be seen from archaeological relics include: stone axes, paintings of animals are killed with weapons such as spears and arrows. Martial arts at that time merely defending themselves from nuisance wild animals and natural surroundings. However, since the increase of the world population increases, the interference coming from the man began to emerge that the desire to pursue martial arts is increasing. Tersebutlah at 4,000 years ago, after the founder Gautama Buddha Sidartha died, then his followers received the mandate to develop Buddhism throughout the world. However, due to the difficulty of impassable terrain, so priests are given supplies martial arts. The mission turns westward to develop science Pangkration or Wrestling in Greece. Religious mission that went to the South to develop some kind, martial arts as we know it today. One of the mission to explore the North China produces kungfu (later in the XII century, Chinese martial arts brought by traders and Kubilaikhan kenegara Majapahit in East Java). KARATE IN INDONESIA
Karate entry in Indonesia not taken by Japanese soldiers but by Indonesian students who kembakli to their homeland, after completing his education in Japan.
